More Information

Music can come from anywhere – even from the pipe you use for plumbing in your house! Design and create your own PVC Pipe “Whap-ama-phones”, as made popular by The Blue Man Group and other “found sound” artists. Then, learn a few songs and perform a concert at the Appell Center! No maker or music experience required – just a desire to build something cool and put it to use!

Whap-ama-phone camp will run daily from 1pm to 3pm on August 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11.

This camp will be co-led by Keystone Kidspace Creative-in-Residence Matthew Davis and Appell Center Director of Education and Community Engagement.
