More Information

Join us at Keystone Kidspace for the next round of skateboarding camp. Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn from professionals.

Camp will be held at Keystone Kidspace for all 4 sessions due to uncertain weather conditions. Instruction will be based on each young skateboarder's current abilities. If the skateboarder has never stepped on a board, instruction will include how to get on a skateboard, proper foot placement, how to push and get yourself rolling, and how to balance properly. If the skateboarder has more experience, instruction can be provided on more advanced tricks including ollies, kickflips, and any other trick the skateboarder needs guidance with.

Camp will run for 4 consecutive 50-minute sessions on Saturdays beginning on Saturday, April 1st:

  • Saturday, April 1st
  • Saturday, April 8th
  • Saturday, April 15th
  • Saturday, April 22nd

ABOUT EQUIPMENT: Helmets must be worn. Helmets and some skateboards will be available to borrow during camp sessions. It is suggested that you bring your own if you own them. Skateboards can be adjusted by staff to work properly for each skateboarder. Exist Skate Shop is also offering a 15% discount off equipment with proof of camp registration.

NOTE ABOUT INSTRUCTORS: There will be a professional instructor per 5 students, who will be grouped by ability. The instructors have over 80 years of experience in skateboarding between them.

THANK YOU to our friends at Exist Skate Shop for helping us to launch these programs!

Years skating: 30 years

Favorite trick:  Front side disaster

Favorite skate spot:  Reid Menzer Skatepark

Why I love skateboarding: It helps clear my mind and I love the feeling of learning something new. You have the ability to be as creative as you want.

Jon first stepped on a skateboard at the age of 8.  He has always had the desire to own his own business. Jon was able to follow his dreams and first opened Exist in 2007. After a short time away from the business side of skating, Jon, Benn, and Gabe re-opened Exist in 2021. Jon would love to see more kids get on a skateboard, part of his mission with Exist is to better the community and to help anybody interested learn about Skateboarding. Outside of skateboarding, Jon loves spending time with his wife and two daughters.
